Hello to everyone!
The tally is in and this year's event total is $6,764.50! It's still growing. I am selling t-shirts and still receiving some donations from fellow Vasculitis Patients and families.
We had a beautiful day - just a lttle chilly. The bands were good. The food was great. Thanks to Robin Jones and Butch England keeping everyone served. The hot chilli hit the spot on a cool day.
The attendance was low from the bikers but with good reason. Another ride was going on that day for a little girl that is being treated at duke for brain cancer. That ride stopped at our place and enjoyed some of our great chilli.
I want to thank everyone that came that day to support our cause. We had several Vasculitis patients and their family members there. And I met some new frends. I hope that next year we can make it bigger and maybe not as cold.
I will keep you all informed as the total keeps rising. If you will keep me informed of how you ar doing. Hope to see all of the support group at the Dec, 6th meeting. Everyone else is invited to join us anytime. Robin Jones has gone with me for the last two meetings and she says she will go back.
Everyone take care and stay healthy and keep in touch.
Thanks to all that came and helped in any way. Without the help we would not be a success. Our 7 year total is $74,727.75!
